DIT's first public open day on 14 March drew over 600 prospective students, parents and industry partners to the Kakuri campus.

The day featured live workshop demonstrations across all four schools, including induction-furnace pours at the foundry complex and a working PCB-design demo from the Computer Engineering studio.

Admissions officers ran walk-in sessions throughout the day, fielding direct enquiries from UTME candidates planning to sit JAMB later in 2026.
