The institute will host six inaugural lectures during the 2026 academic session, themed on "Local capacity for defence manufacturing" and featuring senior figures from DICON, the Federal Ministry of Defence, and partner institutions.
The lecture series is open to faculty, invited industry partners and accredited media. Each lecture concludes with a moderated Q&A.
The first lecture in the series will be delivered by Provost & Chief Executive Engr. Prof. Aliyu Yusuf on 25 June 2026 at the Senate Hall.
